There are many planes of existence that float along the astral sea. Each of the major deities that impact Faerstice exist on their own planes that they created. Each of these beings channeled a bit of their essence into the creation of the Material Plane, where all mortal creatures live. Travel between the planes is nearly impossible for all but the divine and incredibly powerful magic users.
